David McMinn is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. David's passion is helping people come to know God's love and also to help them live as active members of the kingdom of God. David received the call to ministry as a junior in college and has pursued active ministry ever since. He graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelors of Arts in History and Classical Studies in 2003, followed by a Masters of Divinity in 2007. David served in many roles in different churches and ministries across the state of Texas. David met Michelle, the love of his life, in 2007 and they were married in 2008. They currently reside in Leander with their adorable daughters Sophie and Amelia. David enjoys playing and watching sports; video games; movies; and anything outdoors. Until Recently, David served as a chaplain in the US Army Reserves.
Family Ministry Director
Joy and her husband, Chaz have been in the Austin area for over 10 years and have been Rockbridge partners since 2015. Joy has a love for Jesus and a passion for worship, mentoring, children, and family discipleship. She has 4 daughters and a fifth baby coming in 2018! Joy loves to be outside in nature and around water; enjoys singing and being creative. She is excited to serve alongside a caring and passionate staff who hope to continue spreading the gospel and encouraging each other in Christ as they work to reach the Rockbridge community.
Adult Spiritual Formation Leader
Ashley and her two kids have been partners of Rockbridge since 2015. Ashley has a love for Jesus and sharing that love with others. Her passion is creating new disciples of Christ while mentoring, developing and creating long lasting relationships for women and moms in a loving Christ-Filled environment.
Youth Spiritual Formation Leader
Josh and his wife have been Rockbridge Partners since 2011. Josh has had a passion for youth ministry for many years, volunteering his time and talents before joining the staff as the Youth Spiritual Formation Leader in 2015. He was not part of a youth group growing up. He believes that God put him here for this reason: to be a part of forming youth into disciples of Jesus Christ who invite others to get in on what God is up to, and have a good time doing it.
Lesa and her husband Bob moved to Cedar Park in November, 2013 and became Rockbridge partners in January, 2014. Before becoming the Administrative Assistant in April, 2017, Lesa served on the Trustees for three years. The Danhauer's have three grown children and four grandchildren.
Bill Wassenaar, his wife Tammy, along with their three children have made Rockbridge their church home since moving to Cedar Park in 2013. Bill has been playing drums since the age of seven and has used that talent for Praise & Worship music since the late 1990's.
Tomi became a partner of Rockbridge along with her husband in 2011. She married the love of her life in 2009 at the Rock which was the same building that Rockbridge is now. Her passion in life is to be the best mom she can be and she strongly believes that to be the best mom, wife, and person she can be she must be Christ centered. She is a mother to 3 beautiful, spunky, and free spirited children, Kayden, Ella and CharliRae. She enjoys spending her free time crafting, creating things, organizing and being outside. Over the last 9 years she has been providing care for special needs patients and have a passion in helping others out.
Tomi is always going or doing something and staying busy with her family and things at the church but considers it a blessing and enjoys every minute of.
College Ministry Leader
Aimee has served in ministry over ten years in all areas of ministry and feels God has called her to tend to the young adults that are in college or exploring. Aimee and her husband Keith of 22 years have three beautiful girls. Aimee and her family are from Lubbock and have been partners at Rockbridge since 2012.
