Helping Others

Rockbridge is a people who reach out to others in love as we have been reached out to by the love of God through Jesus Christ. This means that volunteering at local schools, Habitat for Humanity, and other organizations are just part of what we do as Christians. There will be times when we reach out as an official part of the church. But we also know that opportunities to reach out and help others come every day when there hasn’t been an opportunity to organize an “official church program.” We say, “GO FOR IT!” Following Christ means more than just head knowledge and talking a good game; it means we serve others as if they might be Christ Himself. Let’s all learn to do this together!
